Philip Eisner & Joshua Scher latest project is an original film for AGBO (EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE). Two other scripts of theirs are under option with the producer of BOOGIE NIGHTS and WATCHMEN. They’re also adapting Scher’s debut novel, Here & There, into a series.
PHILIP EISNER
Eisner’s produced work includes SWEET GIRL, EVENT HORIZON, FIRESTARTER 2: REKINDLED, and MUTANT CHRONICLES. He’s taught screenwriting at the UCLA Extension Writers Program since 2006, where he contributed to the program’s screenwriting manual Cut to the Chase, (Linda Venis, ed). He also taught a science-fiction course at the Sundance Institute, and mentors for Cinestory.org.
JOSHUA SCHER
Scher wrote and produced the film AFTER THE END (based on his novel) which won Best Sci-Fi Feature at the Bare Bones Film Festival. Scher’s developed projects with Gran Via Productions, Pressman Film, and Danny Glover’s Louveture Films.
As a playwright, Scher’s worked with Roundabout Theater, the Flea Theater, the Huntington Theater, Portland Stage, the Eugene O’Neill Theater Festival, and the Williamstown Theater Festival. His plays have been published by Smith and Krauss, Baker’s Plays, and New York Theatre Experience. He’s taught screenwriting for Gotham Writers Workshop and run the Public Speaking and Theater Department for Stern College for Women.
